Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, lies the ‘Speckled Hen Country Bakery', a working bakery making quality handmade products. It was about 18 months ago that the owner of the bakery, Lisa Hocknell (previously a teacher), decided to offer children the opportunity of holding a two hour baking themed party at the bakery and now ‘Little Chicks' baking parties are proving more popular than ever.

Baking parties appeal to girls and boys alike and even their parents! Children participate in baking, icing and other creative activities and enjoy quality party food, using only ‘Speckled Hen' cakes and biscuits of course! Parents enjoy a stress free party (children are fully supervised for the 2 hours) and can leave the mess behind! All they need to do is turn up with the children, have a great time and join in if they wish. Recent renovations now provide an area for parents and carers to relax in, should they wish to stay while their children attend the party.
