If you're looking for some free family fun, get down to Manchester Art Gallery for exciting events and activities for everyone, every day. Children can explore the Clore Interactive Gallery, have a go at creating their own masterpieces, play with lots of computer and interactive games and even listen to spooky stories!

The gallery's lion or teapot shaped 'storybags' can help younger children enjoy the collections, grab an activity backpack, filled with fun for all of the family, or enjoy the gallery's easy to use audio guide, which features comments from children, curators and celebrities.

Finally, when stomachs start to rumble, head to the café where kids can pick-and-mix their own Hungry Monkey lunch box or to the shop where they can pick up a pocket money souvenir.
