Here you can hop aboard many of the boats and step back in time in the period cottages at Porters Row. Add to this a working forge, interactive displays, halls of powerful, rattling machinery, boat trips and you are set for a full and entertaining day out. There is also a café and shop to complete your day.

The Museum has special events throughout the year, and activities for children in the school holidays.
