The Community Health & Physical Activity Team (CHAPAT) aim to improve the health and well being of Stockport through physical activity and recreation. 

Mini Movers is part of A.C.E. (Active Community Exercise) which comprises a number of different physical activity schemes that are co-ordinated by the CHAPAT.

Mini Movers provides pre-school children and their parents and/or guardians with the opportunity to take part in fun physical activity sessions throughout the borough of Stockport. The scheme helps to develop physical ability through a programme of planned activity in which the parent or guardian takes part too. This encourages the parent/guardian to take an active part in their child's physical development, learning different skills alongside their child. Mini Movers is suitable for all children who are walking confidently.
