See the race against time at Alderley Edge!

Meet the archaeologists at Alderley Edge in Cheshire, see how precious ancient mines are under threat from erosion and view some of the minerals, flints and tools that have been unearthed. Activities include children's sand pit (mock excavation), displays, finds and mineral handling collections tours of the surface workings at Engine Vein (run by the Derbyshire Caving Club) tours of the excavations at Stormy Point archaeological quizzes and trails and other archaeology based activities. For details call 01625 584412.
