 Join our Kids Heritage Club KIDS 4 HERITAGE!

This spring Stockport Heritage Services are launching an exclusive Heritage Club aimed at children aged 6-13 years old. If your children are budding heritage enthusiasts who want to learn more about their local heritage through fun activities across Stockport Heritage Sites including: Hat Works, Staircase House, The Air Raid Shelters, Bramall Hall and Chadkirk Chapel - this club will be right up their street!

Take a step back in time with the story of Nat the Hatter on the ‘factory floor' of the museum. Follow in the footsteps of Nat and his family as they make hats in the old factories of Stockport . Learn how they made the hats, see and hear the old machinery and visit the Hatter's Cottage .Experience what is was like to be a hat maker's apprentice
